A PRAYER for NEPAL

A Prayer for NEPAL

A dark sleepless night
Boisterous sounds everywhere
Smell of gunpowder
Scattering of blood.
Followed by
A mother’s mourn
A widow’s outburst
A child’s daunt
And a father’s dream broken into pieces.
Is this all what we want?

Brothers!
Time has come for us to think
Not gaze,
But gear up for the best in all of us
Time to defy the jolts.
This enormity of grief,
This magnitude of destruction,
This intensity of fear,
This smell of defeat,
Has done us nothing
But hit us so hard leaving indelible scars on our lives
God, tell me this is just a myth,
Tell me this is just yet another fairy tale.
All I wanted was
Never Ending Peace And Love
This is what my NEPAL really stands for.
Not for the drive of power,
Not for the path of voilence,
Not for the triumph of strife,

Not for the ebb of a kingdom.
The game can’t go on like this anymore
Let there be LIGHT.
